Solidarity With Aerofoam Workers
Migrant workers at Aerofoam are pursuing claims over unpaid wages and other labour concerns.They deserve their wages, protection from retaliation, and the right to pursue justice safely.
What is happening?
Workers are demanding justice !
Approximately 107 migrant workers are pursuing wage claims concerning around three months of unpaid wages.Workers have also reported concerns involving:- permit renewal and PLKS status;
- deductions and deposits;
- accommodation-related deductions;
- recruitment-related payments;
lack of payslips;
- possible unpaid entitlements.The workers are seeking lawful wages and entitlements, protection from retaliation, and a proper investigation into permit-renewal failures.
What workers are demanding?
Pay all unpaid wages and lawful entitlements
Workers must receive what they are legally owed.
Protect workers from retaliation
No dismissal, intimidation, threats, or pressure to abandon claims.
Protect migrant workers from detention and deportation
Workers must be able to pursue labour claims safely.
Investigate permit-renewal failures
The relevant employer, agent, Immigration, Bestinet, and administrative processes must be properly examined where evidence supports this.
How you can support?
Donate Towards The Soldiarity Fund
We are launching the Aerofoam Workers Solidarity Fund to support migrant workers who are fighting for unpaid wages and protection during their ongoing case.The workers have already endured more than three months without wages. Their next court date is in September, but workers cannot survive for months without food, basic necessities, transport and organised support.The workers’ representatives and the Fund custodians have now signed a Fund Stewardship and Worker Oversight Agreement. The Fund will be managed with worker oversight, clear records and accountability.The Fund will help provide:* bulk food and essential goods for workers;
* urgent needs such as medicine, transport and phone/data;
* necessary costs for food delivery, worker meetings, printing, translation, communication and organising the workers’ collective struggle.

Join Our Volunteer Team
We are forming a practical volunteer support team for Aerofoam migrant workers in Port Klang, coordinated by JSP and SA.This is not a casual volunteer effort. Workers’ safety, confidentiality and collective organisation come first. Volunteers will work under JSP–SA coordination.We are looking for people who can commit time, transport, practical skills or reliable research work.This struggle needs public solidarity.
Build a stronger workers’ movement
The Aerofoam workers’ case is not isolated. Across Malaysia, workers face wage theft, insecure jobs, racism, migration controls, union-busting, and pressure to remain silent.This campaign shows why workers need independent organisation, solidarity, and a political alternative to capitalism.Support the work of Sosialis Alternatif in building workers’ struggles and help build a fighting socialist movement.
Join Sosialis Alternatif
Workers’ struggles need more than sympathy. They need organised solidarity, democratic organisation, and a socialist alternative.
